Vacuum drainage
The vacuum massage laser is an excellent alternative to manual drainage. Often, after certain plastic surgery procedures, it is advisable to perform stronger drainage than the one that can be performed manually. In this case, it is worth using the Icoone laser device. The physiotherapist arranges the treatment protocol individually, according to the indications. Most often, drainage with the Icoone laser device is performed after liposuction or lipotransfer surgery.
It is a patented technology which is based on the work of mechanised massage heads equipped with rollers with numerous micro holes, which determines very precise and deep action on each millimetre of skin without stretching it or causing injury. Thanks to vacuum drainage treatments, the skin receives 1180 microstimuli per dm2 with each full head movement. The result is an extremely thorough, multidimensional massage of the treated area with great respect for the skin.

Effects
Drainage is carried out by two independent rollers which allows the physiotherapist to drain excess fluids into the main lymphatic nodes. Additionally, depending on the indications, the treatment may be supplemented with the deep stimulation head, which is equipped with a diode laser and LED light which, in combination, produces a photochemical effect in tissues, causing greater cell permeability. The laser wave penetrates deep into the tissue, where it is strongly absorbed by fat cells, increasing their temperature and accelerating the process of lipolysis, i.e. breakdown of fat. LED light influences fibroblasts, stimulates collagen production and accelerates tissue regeneration. It also influences permeability of cell membranes, causing the opening of pores within them, which enables removal of released fat to the lymphatic system without damaging the cells. The effect of treatments with vacuum drainage is the stimulation of vascularisation, activation of the lymphatic and circulatory systems, stimulation of intercellular exchange, breaking down of fat tissue and restoration of correct metabolism and body shape.

FAQ
Vacuum drainage treatment is carried out in a special elastic costume. Using unique heads, one or two treatment stages may be performed: 1. drainage - basic, draining treatment to reduce swelling and bruising, and 2. focus, which is a treatment performed with a larger head, additionally equipped with LED light and a diode laser, designed for deeper stimulation, accelerating regeneration and improvement of skin firmness. The number of treatments depends on the surgical procedure performed and the patient's needs. In most cases, a series of 5 to 10 procedures should be performed. The number and frequency of ICOONE® treatments will be determined by a physiotherapist during an individual consultation with the Patient.
